Lots to Love with this Gift Box

Gift boxes are so handy to have on hand when you need to spruce up a present.  The Lots to Love Framelit Die set makes it super easy to whip one up at a moments notice!  What I really like about this one (apart from it being a breeze to put together) is that it fits the new narrow note cards and envelopes from the Occasions catalogue perfectly.

Continuing on with the Petal Passion theme this week, this is one we made at my recent Catalogue Launch Party. I’ve used the lovely Petal Passion Designer Series Paper and Petal Palette stamp and die bundle.

I’m often gifting sets of cards to people and find they are always well received.  It’s something we all use and giving something homemade makes it extra special.

Aren’t the new narrow note cards and envelopes cute! I wish I had taken a photo of the back of the envelope for you, it has an oval shaped flap at one end which I love! (It’s the small things that get me!) There are 20 in a pack so they go a long way.

I’ve sponged the bottom corner of the cards with Pool Party ink before I stamped in the same colour.  All the images are coloured using Stampin Blends.

To make the box, use the large rectangular die and cut two pieces.  Once cut, turn one piece around 180 degrees so the oval flaps are at opposite ends. Fold all the score lines.  One piece will now nest inside the other.  Adhere the two long sides together, decorate and that’s it! One very cute gift box ready to be filled.
