Sneak Peek Week! Sweet Soiree

Recently I had the awesome and nerve-wracking experience of being a presenter at our Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator conference, OnStage.  The Suite I presented was the very elegant Sweet Soiree range of products, from the soon to be released Occasions Catalogue.  This catalogue goes live on 3 January, so not long now!!  Please contact me if you would like a free copy of it posted out to you.

Today I thought I would share some of my favourite OnStage display projects with you.

This one uses the Sweet Soiree stamp set and the coordinating Sweet Cake Framelit Dies.  Isn’t the cake stand amazing!

I have sponged the bottom section of the card with Marina Mist, then stamped over the top.  The very thin silver washi tape is part of the Sweet Soiree embellishment kit – the kit is filled with all sorts of goodies; pretty diecuts, ribbon, tassels, mini pegs and the lovely washi tape.

The cake has been stamped in Berry Burst then die cut.  Did you notice the icing spots?  They are made with the new Shimmery White embossing paste and decorative masks.  This stuff is awesome, you simply hold the mask over your cake image and smear some of the sparkly paste over it with a palette knife.  Lift the mask and wallah, gorgeous textured detail!  I’ve also used the embossing paste to ‘ice’ the cake slice box below …

The Designer Series paper in the Suite is stunning.  It’s a specialty paper which means it is slightly thicker, so it’s perfect for creating 3D projects. One side of the paper has shiny silver detail which gives it a really elegant look. I’m also excited about the new Berry Burst Metallic Edge Ribbon!

This is definitely a suite you will want to add to your wishlist!

Thanks for stopping by,  keep an eye out for another sneak peek coming soon!
