Sweet Soiree Gift Box & Note cards

Have you ever looked at a project in the catalogue and wondered how it was done?  Me too!

This Sweet Soiree gift box was one of those projects for me, it caught my eye every time I flicked through the new Occasions catalogue (page 14).  I had to have a go, so here is my version.  I have made it slightly smaller to work with some 3 1/2″ square notecards I was making, but the overall style of the box is the same.

Box Base – 10″ x 12″

Score with long side at top at 4″ and 8″

Turn and score with short side at top at 4″ and 6″

Turn back with long side at top and score at 3 1/2″ and 8 1/2″ just down to first horizontal score line.  Turn 180 degrees and repeat on opposite side.

Lid – 7 1/8″ x 5 1/8″

Score at 1/2″ and 1 1/2″ on all four sides

Note cards – 7″ x 3 1/2″, score at 3 1/2″ to make a square card

Whisper white front panel – 3″ square

First Mat – 3 1/8″ square

Second Mat – 3 1/4″ square
