Hi there! Today’s share steps away from all the Christmas projects for a minute, for a cute Animal Outing welcome little one, baby card. The Rhino is my favourite image in the Animal Outing set, he is just so adorable!
The textured background uses the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder, for a bit of a jungle feel. Blue is not a colour I use a lot of, so it was quite refreshing using this combo of two new colours, Balmy Blue and Blueberry Bushel.
The Rhino has been stamped onto Shimmery White cardstock using Memento Black ink, this makes it easier to watercolour without the paper breaking down. I then used an Aqua Painter and Smokey Slate ink to colour him, this is super quick to do and really makes you feel like an artist!
I decided to use a 12.5cm square card to tie in with the Stitched Shape square and give a little more clean white space. A reasonably quick card to make and super cute! The supplies are all available in my online store, just click on the items in the shopping list below for details.
