Hi there! Sometimes you have to look no further than the lovely projects in the catalogue for inspiration, such was the case for this Peaceful Noel card. This one really took my eye, so I wanted to recreate it for my display board. It turned out to be even prettier in real life and simple to make, so I have made a few more to send to friends – and some matching tags as well, lol!

The Peaceful Noel Set has some two step stamping images in it, so to make it easier to line up, I have stamped the darker outline part of the image first (Merry Merlot Berries and the Shaded Spruce wider shaped leaves), I have then used the same colour on the inside of the images but have stamped off onto scrap paper first to get a lighter shade. It is much easier to look down through the lighter ink on the stamp to see the darker lines below when lining things up.

The thin strips of shiny Merry Merlot glimmer paper really step this card up a level and make it quite elegant.

I got on a bit of a roll with the stamping so I carried the card design over to a bunch of Christmas tags too!
